Online application, followed by a virtual interview. Interviewer asked me to go through my resume & relevant experience. Did not offer much insight into the role and wasn't aware of country-specific requirements for teachers to legally work in Vietnam. I was hired without having the necessary certification, which was not required in past ESL roles, but was required in Vietnam. It wasn't until I was on my last day of training did my interviewer realize he hadn't checked my credentials properly.
