Colloquio
I had an initial phone interview with my current supervisor during which he told me what the work would entail and asked me some basic questions about my background, education and experience. During the call, he gave me one day to find and summarize data sources and methods I would use for a particular project. The following day, we discussed the summary with my current supervisor and previous colleague on the phone. There was no in-person interview component.

Colloquio
Initial phone interview with supervisor established my interest and capabilities to perform the required job duties. Supervisor talked about the project and asked me to perform some preliminary research, which we would discuss the following day. The next day, we had a second phone interview with the supervisor and a future potential colleague, during we discussed my preliminary research and approach to the project. I received a third phone call about 30 minutes later and was told that I was selected, and we spoke about salary, project timeline, etc.
