INHUMANE and WASTE of TIME! This company from the Netherlands that at every instance boasts to be a leader in the cutting edge high tech industry doesn't even have the basic decency to treat candidates as humans! It is more so if you are a non-EU candidate.
Being a non-EU candidate, I applied for this position in Veldhoven in the last week of August 2019. My interview happened in the first week of Sept 2019 over Skype. I was assured by the manager that the HR will get back soon, which in itself was a blatant lie! After that, every other week I sent multiple reminder mails to the HR asking for the status, in total some 15 mails!! For the first two weeks I was told that other candidates are being interviewed and they would require some time. Even after that there was no any updates from the HR. When I sent a reminder mail, the HR said that they are deciding amongst the interviewed candidates and they will get back to me soon. Again, there was no updates for another month! When I asked the HR, I was told that the hiring manager is yet to update on the situation. They SHAMELESSLY DRAGGED this matter for a full 8 weeks without giving ANY updates, after which my candidature was rejected.
AVOID!! If non-EU candidates want to apply, do it so through the secondment agencies who openly claim that they can provide feedback within 10 days as compared to the internal HR people who can't even update in a good 2 months time!!
