Three parts - behavioral, then technical then coding exercise. coding exercise is non-standard by easy, mostly focused on your thought process instead of correctness. Behavioral questions focused a bit on experience but mostly on how you will handle certain interpersonal scenarios. Technical questions comprises of c++ and python. questions are about semantics but also abt concepts like data structures and inheritance & polymorphism.

One-hour interviews with two engineers. The position is for mask design. They first ask questions about my research and previous experience. They then ask to debug a C++ programme and write a Python programme.

First was the hireview then was the first round interview. In the first round, they went over each of my work/projects in my resume. They would ask more questions about my work to get more details. Plus, they will ask why you are interested in ASML and if you knew what the internship is about.

Colloquio
The interview process at ASML was a good experience overall. It mainly focused on a medium-level coding problem and detailed discussion of my resume and projects. The interviewer was friendly and emphasized clear thinking and communication.
