Use your past experiences to describe what you know and what you can do (hint: be specific and answer via stories!). Be prepared for the “big question.” You may specifically be asked “why should we hire you?” Have an answer ready that's confident, concise, and focuses on how your skills match their company needs

I applied for the position of Technical Consultant for AT&T online. I was called a week later and was asked a few questions. The person explained to me the duties of the position. We had even discussed the pay, in which I was very surprised. The interview was scheduled for a few days later. During the interview, my interviewer, whom was a manager, basically asked me general interview questions about my experience @my former employer. No technical questions, which I had prepared for. I don't know if this would be helpful. But I would say to be confident and still be prepared for a technical interview. I was shocked it was 1:1; not sure why this was not
