Really disappointing in the recruiter here. My interview process started off positive. The Recruiter expressed strong interest and I was told I’d be moving to the next round. Shortly after receiving the hiring manager’s calendar invite, I was informed that the company had suddenly shifted its hiring direction and would now only be considering candidates located in a specific time zone. This was surprising, as I had already shared that I had previously supported that time zone without any issues.
Following this update, I received two automated rejection emails from the recruiter within a short period of time. I reached out for clarification, especially since there was another open role listed for my time zone, but received no response.
Overall, the experience felt inconsistent and left me with concerns about communication and follow-through. I hope the team continues to refine their candidate communication, as a more transparent process would go a long way.
