I received a phone call asking me when I will be available for a phone interview. After the phone interview I was told if they are willing to hire me I will get another call back. I received a call back two days later. I then had a one on one interview which I was asked a series of questions. They were fairly easy if you have experienced working before. (I knew someone that had a phone interview, but never received a call back, so be sure you're honest and know what you're talking about. I think it might have been because she did not have past working experience but I'm not sure).

Applied in the beginning of January, was called two weeks later to come in for an interview on a Thursday. I personally thought the interview went pretty well but the manager explained that they only had 2 positions open and had a lot of people interviewing. When leaving, Paul said that I will hear from him through phone or email and that I should check back the next Thursday if I did not hear anything. I called the next Thursday and Paul said he still had more people to interview and that I should hear from him by the following Wednesday. At this point, I interviewed somewhere else and they had offered me the position but I wanted to work at Academy more. So, a week and a half after my last phone call, I called Paul one last time to see why I hadn't heard from him. I called on a Monday and he said he would call me back the next day. I never received a phone call back nor an email saying I didn't get the job. All in all, I thought this was a bad way to treat applicants I felt like I was strung along by Paul and still have not heard anything definitive back from the company.
