Interview process was straight forward. Screening interview with HR, then interview with a director. Director suggested another interview with a Senior Manager. Interviews were scheduled quickly. The delay came when they needed to make a decision. Decided last minute to go with an internal hire.

This is the second time I interviewed at a role at Accruent with largely the same negative opinion of the process. Like last time, I was essentially ghosted following the interview. Only after I inquired did they let me know a day later that they decided to move forward with other candidates. The original interview with the recruiter was fairly straight forward and I was quickly put through to the next round with the hiring manager. The interview with the hiring manager was also not too difficult. At one point in the interview, the hiring manager stated that my experience pretty much described her exact job. The only thing I can take from not getting put through to the in-person round is that the hiring manager, who was relatively young, felt intimidated by me as I have considerably more experience in professional services and the business world in general. This is why I caution anyone from interviewing here if you are more senior -- the hiring managers are relatively inexperienced and may see you as a threat.
