Colloquio
A challenging and engaging interview / AC process. I value the questions asked as they forced me to closely analyse my experience / skill set and my aspirations which in turn has had the benefit of making me a more well-rounded candidate. The interviewers were all incredibly warm, welcoming and polite. This is one of the reasons for my preference to train here. Consequently, I feel I will be well supported as an Accutrainee. The questions asked with regards to my presentation were very detailed and thought-provoking. In summary all of the aforementioned points made this a thoroughly rewarding process. I would have no hesitation recommending Accutrainee to others searching for a TC.

Despite a really thorough interview process, I had a great time applying to Accutrainee.
The first interview is more standard with questions to be expected, challenging motivations, ambition, your CV and competency based questions.
This was a great test before the real challenge, which was the Assessment Centre and interview with founder and partner. I was told to prepare a presentation and analyse a news article from a year prior.
The presentation went well, despite some very difficult questions to test my knowledge and also my passion for law and the subject I decided to talk on.
Despite a pretty open selection of presentation options, be prepared to be intensely questioned as the interviewers want to make sure your knowledge on the subject isn't just superficial and a couple of Google searches.
The following interview, which lasted 2h and 20 minutes, was probably the hardest I've ever experienced (in a good way). I had never been so comprehensively drilled with questions on commercial awareness, legal theory and ambition.
Despite the news article I was told to analyse being from a year prior, we followed up the discussion with what has happened since then and individual motivations for why that came to be, drawing on extensive commercial awareness and really testing my knowledge on the business since the article came out (ie in the year since then).
Whilst this will undoubtedly be difficult for those that may not be up to date with news or commercially savvy, I felt it was a great way to really test wide-ranging commercial acumen.
The interviewers really press you for your best answer, and do challenge you to consider whether the answer given is the best option, or one of many good options and why that may be.
Despite feeling it was the toughest interview I've ever done, I'm happy to say I made it through and I am encouraged by how stringent the selection process is, as they obviously care hugely about those they recruit.
