For candidates with reporting experience, it is essential to understand that it is not a typical news company.

This covers the key elements most journalism interviews focus on: writing ability, ethical decision-making, and source verification/research skills, while giving an overall positive assessment of the process being thorough yet reasonable.
Overall I would say it was friendly and relaxed though yet very professional and goal oriented. We focused on things such as how I believed I could contribute in the role, past experience etc.
