On Campus Process, Most unprofessional behavior ever.
Total Rounds - 5
1st Round - Technical, Cleared
2nd Round - HR, Cleared
3rd Round - HR (diff. HR), Cleared
4th Round - Technical, Cleared
5th Round - It was not a round, we were told that it will be a meeting with CEO, 2 of us reached to that round.
Their CEO asked questions on projects, resume from me, for around 22 min. In last he asked me my CPI, it was little less than 8.5, he then asked what is the CPI of topper, I told little more than 9.5
Meeting over, next the second student was called, he was given only 5 min. Time, then CEO got a call and his interview was done there only.
HR called coordinator, told to call the topper for meeting with CEO, the topper was rejected in 2nd round. He met with him, same q.s from resumes were asked.
Result - Both of us who cleared all rounds got rejected, topper got selected.
On what basis - CPI
So where were the CEO when CPI list was shared at first, he could have directly selected top 3 and get done with, why wasted time of his own employee and ours. 3.5 days matter a lot during placements.
P.S. The interviewers were really good, though the CEO needs to believe in his hiring team and employees.
