Talked to a recruiter on phone, and moved on to an onsite interview shortly after. The interview process was pretty disorganized. I was told the whole onsite takes 4.5 hours but eventually, it went over 5.5 hours. Some of the interviewers didn't know the agenda either, and therefore a couple of sessions when way over time. One interviewer was sitting quietly watching his phone after writing down the question on a whiteboard. He even chuckled once when I was writing on the whiteboard. Maybe he saw something funny on his phone. It was really hard to have a good discussion with this interviewer. Another interview seemed extremely busy with typing stuff on this laptop. However, every time I asked a question I had to repeat so I am not sure if he was taking notes or simply doing something else. Some interviewers seemed to have the "correct" answers in mind already and were waiting for you to spit it out. However, if you didn't start in the same direction, then you're out of luck because they would sit there silently without giving you any feedback. It's really hard to have good technical discussions with them because they didn't want to guide the conversation anyway. Never heard back since the onsite interview. I've interviewed some startups throughout my career, but this one is definitely the worst experience I've had so far. Stay away from them if you're looking for a company that respects your time.

It involved an initial HackerRank challenge consisting of 6 questions, where there is one hard question and the others are either medium or easy (I rate the difficulty according to leetcode). There were four on-site interviews, where the first two were coding. I found the coding questions to be reasonably challenging - expect to code up the questions on the white board. There was one behavioral round and a system design round with the CTO. They got back to me withing a week about the result of my interview. Overall I had a pleasant experience. Interviewers were pleasant and knowledgeable.
