Before the interview, the HR sent me an email detailing the company's hiring philosophies, namely The Adyen Formula. I studied carefully and expected to have opportunities, as any reasonable person would, to discuss (1) how I understand the formula and (2) the role I have applied to. However, there was zero opportunity to. The HR interviewer was 15 minutes late and was looking at his phone while I was talking. He made no apology for his lack of punctuality. The HR interviewer also promised to get back to me personally on a crucial question I asked about the job upon checking internally. Instead, I got an automated email telling me my application will not proceed. I find that annoyingly rude given I have invested time and resources to look into this company. Please exercise professional skepticism when approaching the HR of this company. Their email invitation for interview appears detailed and courteous, but such gestures do not tie in with actual experience.
