A series of basic questions about prior experience and your interests. There are also questions about why you are interested in advertising. This interview is followed up by an online questions to fill out that are pretty general. It seems like the online portion is a formality. It definitely helps to have interned at Aegis or another advertising agency prior to being hired. They have a great internship program so they definitely like to look for candidates that have interned with Aegis or held an internship in a similar industry. They want to see interest, passion, and a positive and go-getter personality. To be a good account executive, you must be personable, accountable, great at multi-tasking, and tactful about conflicts that may arise. This has to do with being a good communicator and this should come through in the interview.
