My interview process was fairly quick however it was about five or six stages, including a role-play with two managers outside of my direct manager. The role-play interview came with a little assistance. It’s not like you had to be an expert in a product. You don’t currently sell.

I don’t normally write feedback but feel I have to with my experience- Approached through a recruiter. Told about the role and the first interview (due to Covid) was a Teams with the UK Sales Manager and HR. Next step was a series of online psychometric tests. I was then through to the last stage of a presentation and interview. As far as I was aware from the recruiter I was one of three in the process. I spent 3 solid days researching and preparing the presentation, on a short time line as I was told they wanted the process completed by Christmas. I completed the interview, was told I would hear back by the end of the following week. Four weeks later I’ve heard nothing, and the recruiter has assumed they have gone with another candidate. I’ve invested all this time and effort and they have not even had the courtesy to tell me if I’ve been successful, I can only assume due to the silence that I’ve not been- this was four weeks ago. My recruiter was quite shocked and apologetic, and summised negotiations were happening with another candidate, whilst I was being kept as a Plan B. In these trying times, it’s disappointing and pretty soul destroying to be treated with so little respect and courtesy when you have invested so much time in an interview process.
