Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite un selezionatore. La procedura ha richiesto 3 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Affirm (San Francisco, CA) nel mese di mar 2019
Colloquio
Silly company and silly process. I was contacted by an internal recruiter and then she set up a phone interview in which I was interviewed by an attorney who was very nice, but had been hired only 1 month before, knew almost nothing about the company, and would be ultimately be reporting to this person - so interviewing his future supervisor - which is odd. Then I was scheduled on-site and it lasted all day - met 12 individuals, but never the attorney to whom this role would report - which also made no sense. Everyone is very pleasant, but several of the people even started the interview with a disclaimer about not knowing much about what the Capital Markets role would entail. Ultimately, I left without a clear understanding of what Affirm was seeking - I am not sure they even know - and one attorney was actually became defensive when I asked her what types of contracts she was working on and said "what difference does it make?" Huge huge waste of time. The company does not have a clear direction in the capital markets space, so steer clear unless you have extra time to burn...the free lunch was really good though.
