You will get a call from HR first, and if you pass the phone screening with HR, you will go into the video interview. The first round is a conversational interview with hiring manager, they might ask you about your past experience, how you handle the challenges, how you communicate, etc. The second round is app critique, you can pick your own app and do the critique on that.

I applied at Affirm a couple weeks before Christmas and went through the Affirm interview process after the holidays. A recruiter reached out to me and both her and another colleague handled scheduling and reminders for all interviews. They were very communicative and quick to provide next steps after each stage. I went through a recruiter screen, 1:1 with the design manager, and then a portfolio presentation and app review with two designers each. I didn’t make it to the final interview but feedback was quick and I liked everyone I got to meet.
