The process consists of: 2 phone screenings, a project, and a 4-5 hour zoom panel interview. Overall, everyone was pleasant to talk to. I do think they need to be more clear about the details of the role and who they are looking for. At times, it feels like they were not clear on what they wanted. Half way through the zoom interview I was emailed to reschedule with one person for the following day. I gave my availability and was then left hanging as they never responded. I knew at that point I wouldn’t be moving forward and it still took them 1.5 weeks to reject me. I found that really unprofessional after all of the time and energy I invested. The rejection email I received was also really tone deaf. All in all, I’d suggest really making sure you want to go through this process before investing all of the time. If you make it to the zoom, be prepared to present the project. They weren’t clear on that with me and I felt put on the spot. I would also ask the hiring manager about any concerns prior to the project and zoom. I felt like I was strung along when they knew they wouldn’t hire me because I lacked the background they were looking for. Even though I had more than enough experience for this role. Really ask yourself if you feel that this company is actually helping people or further perpetuating spending above their means. I had these concerns upfront and I should have listened to my gut.
