Applied through my university and was contacted to set up an info session and interview the following week. The district sales coordinator was very professional and personable, and provided a broad summary of the industry and position. It was hard at times to keep up with all of the information given I had no prior knowledge of the insurance industry. In addition, like most people, all I knew about Aflac was the duck in the commercials.

Literally just an entry level sales position interview. They will ask you the basic sales questions and see if you are able to hold a conversation. Not much else. Hold a conversation, say you are comfortable on the phone and talking to business owners.

Good sales pitch. Good company. Too bad commission only. They should have mentioned this before I applied. Waste of time unfortunately. If they can't be upfront about pay and benefits, it's not worth the effort. I hope not all of their offices practice this.

I did not apply to a job posting but instead received a phone call from a recruiter stating he had seen my resume on ZipRecruiter and thought I could be a potential good candidate for several open positions (Account Executive, Hiring Manager). I came in the next day for an interview, and it was more of a informational interview with a group of about 5-7 people. We were specifically asked to not ask questions during the presentation, which focused primarily on the compensation package and not the roles themselves.
