The recruitment process is done in 4 stages. Initial writing test, introduction phone call, second round writing test including typing test and lastly face to face interview. For the initial writing test , you will receive an email which you need to draft an email with the given scenario and guidelines. Then, a simple phone call session with the recruiter which they will ask about yourself in general and they will explain the job scope, salary, etc. I believe in this session they want to know your ability in using language. Third one is written test and typing test. In this round you will complete the task at Agoda KL office. The scenario will be more complicated than the initial writing test. It is advise to express extensive empathy as Agoda is a hospitality service provider. For fresh grads who are applying this role is advise to learn email etiquette beforehand. Typing test is very simple and easy. Lastly face to face interview. There will be a role play between you and the interviewer. Show your enthusiasm and you may get hired!

I applied online and was contacted by HR for an initial screening. The process included a written assessment where I had to respond to customer service email scenarios within a time limit. This tested communication skills, tone, and problem-solving ability.
After passing the assessment, I had an HR interview focusing on my background, motivation for joining Agoda, and customer service experience. This was followed by a manager interview, which included behavioral and situational questions related to handling difficult customers and resolving issues.
Overall, the interview process was professional, well-organized, and focused on real customer experience scenarios. The interviewers were friendly and explained the role clearly.

The interview takes 3 times,
First interview is a sample and quick interview, and some information sharing .
Second Interview is typing skill and within 40minutes, answer Japanese email and english email.
Third Interview is interview with the Team leader its take around 1 hours.
