Multi stage interview process. Online, online testing and in person. The In person interview was with a panel. Interview portion covered potential scenarios, languages, communication tests, professionalism and teamwork exercises.

I was called by an Air Transat recruiter and she asked me if I was still interested in the position and I said yes! I unfortunately was busy and had to settle some things at home, and I didn’t expect the call because it’s been over a month since I applied. I thought this was odd too because the number was a “No Caller ID” number and normally when I get offers from airlines in the past, it’s always through emails. I asked if I can be called another time if it was okay. The lady over the phone agreed and asked when is a good time for me. She suggested either “today or tomorrow.” I said today is fine and she seemed understanding and said “okay, I will call later on today.” l thought the call went well after that but I was definitely wrong! I eventually got the stuff I needed to get done just an hour after the call and hours then passed by. I was wondering when she would call back because it’s been past 5pm at this point. A random thought came up in my head to check and access my application since I haven’t looked at the progress of it since two weeks ago (it showed active at the time and someone viewed my application on Jan 4th). Once I opened it up this time round, it said in bold letters: “Application was not selected. Status Inactive.” I was appalled! The lady lied over the phone saying she was going to call and had my hopes up the whole time! Imagine if I waited so long and didn’t check?! What kind of company wins awards for having the best employers & being the best leisure airline, but does this?! Do they not understand that the people their calling have lives too? Definitely don’t recommending this company and will never apply ever again. 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 Even my experience with Flair Airlines and WestJet in the past was way better than this! Have some sense of Humanity Air Transat Team!

I applied through a referral. Then I got an email to book a face to face interview 3 months later. Very nice people. The interview was with 2 people. Asked personal questions and some situational questions. Then they brought me to another room for uniform fitting. They took my information and told me they would contact me later today for a medical date. I had my medical 2 days later. After that, I waited for about 1 month to receive my offer letter.
