      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite l'università. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Airbus (Calcutta) nel mese di ago 2021

      Colloquio

The interview process of the company is not very complex. It all starts with the basic introduction. In technical round they asked to introduce myself and my interest while in HR round they wanted to give them a brief idea about my family background. That was tailed by some follow up questions. The conversation was very comfortable and friendly. Then they mostly tried to stick with my project work and how much it mean to and what was the reason for me to work on it or how much have I learnt in it. They asked me about my interest in aerospace and structures as my profile was completely related to that. They love to hear a passionate person in field of aerospace who is willing to give his time and efforts in this field. Also if any of your work is related to the field of aerospace that can give you a major boost during interviews. And then there were some subject related questions. As I am mechanical engineering student those questions were mostly related to SOM material science and metrology. I had done some projects on FEM designing and manufacturing engineering so they asked me a good number of questions on casting welding machine design bezier curve. I tried to stay positive with my knowledge and tried to relate it with practical world examples which they admired a lot. In the end they asked some basic HR questions and few follow up questions which was a bit of grind. The whole interview was quite lengthy one (55 mins technical 30 mins HR) but overall it was very friendly conversation that made it look bit easy.
