I received a formal offer of employment for the Client Relations Manager position; the agreement during my 3rd interview (when verbal offer was made) was that I would be able to accept or decline the offer by the next business day after reviewing the terms in writing. As such, a voice-mail was left by me with the appropriate hiring individual at 8:56 a.m. to accept and inform executed Offer Letter would be scanned/emailed asap. By 11:00 a.m. I was called by this same individual and informed the offer was being rescinded, apparently because an internal candidate had decided to take the position.
