      Initial interview round, very systematic. Questions were not very technical but about your past experience. Conducted very well. I was not offered the second round as I was applying for a remote role over seas. Maybe I have misread or there wasn't an indication that role role is remote but onshore. All good though.

      Colloquio

      I had my second-round interview with two managers, and it was entirely focused on situational questions. I expected it to be more technical, but their approach made it seem like they weren’t really considering me for the role. Only one person was actively asking questions, while the other mostly observed and barely engaged, only asking one question when prompted by the senior manager. They didn’t seem interested in my responses and appeared rigid in what they wanted to hear. They rushed through 18 questions in 40 minutes, making it feel like a mere formality rather than a serious selection process.

      The first question they asked was about my current company, and then they asked a series of detailed follow-up questions. They inquired about the percentage increase, what actions I took, whether it was my decision or someone else's, who authorized it, and whether it was cost-effective or led to increased costs. Each question followed the answer I gave.

I shared multiple scenarios where disagreements occurred and explained how I took the initiative to introduce new tools, such as switching from SVN to Git. They then asked detailed questions about how I convinced the team to adopt Git. One of the questions was about how to approach a situation where a developer is rigid and unwilling to embrace new tools like Git, preferring to stick with SVN. I provided thoughtful responses to each of their questions. technical situation of proposed something like move to svn from git.
