Typical process. There was an initial HR screening, then a phone conversation with the hiring manager . I was then invited to the final round table interview then an offer was made. Overall it was a great experience but the results were frustrating. I put my desired salary on the application and was asked it the very end of the interview. They made a low offer below my range and were not open to negotiations. I believe my range was very fair because I had offers with multiple companies in the area that were higher. It was Frustrating that we went through the whole process even though they could never meet my salary expectations. I recommend discussing salarying in the initial HR screening and if you can’t match the candidates desired salary be transparent about it so you don’t continue the process and consume peoples valuable time.
