Definitely my weirdest interview experience. Applied online, got a mail from recruiter next day asking for availability in current week for a phone screen. Didn't hear back for one week, when I mailed to ask for an update the recruiter set up an interview the following week. Never got a call from the recruiter at the scheduled time, when I mailed to confirm if there was some scheduling conflict but got a reply " Called twice, no response". Apologized and asked on how to move forward but never heard back from the recruiter. Such a thing has never happened to me as I have been interviewing at multiple places, even if there is some issue in telephone network there are definitely more professional ways to approach such issue. The recruiter always replied with one short sentence as if not interested, the behavior doesn't seem surprising after I read some reviews here. Thankful to have dodged a bullet.
