Pretty typical except that they want you to pay for your ticket to Dallas to do the interview. In my case I was interviewing for a position that wasn't due to be opened until June, which anyone in the moving business knows is the start of peak season. Probably not the best time to try and open a new operation. I raised this concern with them before I bought my ticket and they assured me that they were going to do it. What a shock after I pay for my ticket and fly down there I find out they wont be opening the location until the following year. Because of this they want me to start their training program and go to an entirely different city and state and serve as the operations mgr. under a guy who just started in the business ( I have over 10 years experience so this was kind of hard to accept especially when I was supposed to be interviewing to run my own location). Needless to say these surprises threw me for quite a loop. That's not to say I think it is a bad company rather I just happened to show up when they really didn't have their act together. Unfortunately for me it cost me $300 for the honor and the privilege. Lucky me!
