The whole recruitment process (from application to the day I was offered the position) lasted 5 weeks. It consisted of 2 Skype interviews and a final round assessment center at the company's headquarters in Paris, France.
The first Skype interview was mainly focused on getting to know the candidate with many background questions and few competency-based ones (it took around 30 min). The second Skype interview, was a fully behavioural (competency-based) one, in which I had to bring up many examples from both my professional, as well as personal life (it lasted 1 hour). Some typical motivational questions also came up at this stage.
Subsequently, I was invited along with other 7 candidates to the assessment center in Paris, where we had to go through another 1-hour long individual, competency-based interview with an external HR consultant (here we had to be a bit more specific in our answers), work on a case study in pairs, discuss a topic from the case in groups and, finally, deliver a presentation (always in pairs) on our understanding and solutions to the case to a panel of recruiters, which included AWP's company leaders. Throughout the day we also got the opportunity to meet and have a quick chat with the company's CEO and other managers. Overall, it was a very interesting and challenging experience.
