The first interview was with HR for a standard screening.
The second interview was a panel format with more detailed situational questions. There were opportunities to highlight how your experiences / skills could best be utilized in the role. There were 10 questions total, with each interviewer taking turns responding or further questioning.
If extended an offer, I would have declined to work for the Northbrook branch of Allstate. I was interviewed exclusively by middle aged white women who made it clear that there was seldom new talent and everyone who worked there has been working there for many years. It is clear this branch prefers to stick to a certain employee type.
