I had a 30 minute interview with two employees that were the project manager and lead ELA content editor. Even though they had my portfolio of work, they then asked me to complete an editing task. The directions stated to not spend more than 3 to 4 hours. I completed the task and the next day I got a generic email that I would not be moving forward with the position. I responded to the two employees that I interviewed with and sent the task to. I politely asked for feedback on the task for my improvement. I received no response back. I feel like I did free labor and got nothing from it, not even a curtesy response from the interviewers.
