Met with 4 people from Alphasense in total. The first interview they asked me to pitch them the product as if it was a sample cold call. Which is pretty high pressure, but went through the motions. Before the next interview they had us wrote a 3 page essay on how we would prospect clients, contact them, and sell them. 2nd interview was a culture fit with a team member. 3rd and 4th were with managers who asked why AlphaSense? How to handle rejection? Etc. The communication after each interview was lacking. They rescheduled the interviews two times. Seems like the majority of their SDR hires are recent college graduates and they try to keep the office young. All and all 4 rounds of interviews and a 3 page essay is a lot to put candidates through.

Very smooth interview process. I was contacted and progressed quickly through each stage whilst being given ample time to prepare. Very kind staff and seems like they genuinely want to help.
Expect questions like “Why sales?” and “Why AlphaSense?”, along with a high-level discussion of your experience and communication skills. Overall, it wasn't too difficult as the interview with the hiring manager was pretty conversational.
