The AlphaSights selection process includes resume screening, followed by an HR interview assessing motivation and understanding of the firm. Candidates then complete a case study or role-play simulating client interactions, demonstrating analytical and communication skills. Final behavioral interviews with senior staff assess cultural fit before reference checks and offer decisions.

Initial call with a recruiter to gain an insight into the role. This was followed by two subsequent calls with more senior members of staff which entailed more technical questions. A language test also had to be carried out.
