Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 3 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso AlphaSights (New York, NY) nel mese di dic 2016
Colloquio
Submitted resume online and heard back the next day for a video assessment. The video assessment is very easy and all of the questions are on Glassdoor. I would recommend practicing by recording yourself a few times prior to doing the AVA to make sure you feel comfortable talking into your computer. After the video assessment, I heard back about three days later for a Skype interview.
The Skype interview was also fairly easy with all behavioral questions about why you picked your college, your resume, why AlphaSights, etc.. Again most of the questions are on Glassdoor for the Skype interview but definitely do your research about AlphaSights and why you want to work there. Make sure you know what exactly they do and their bread process and they will like you. After about two days I received an email about an on-site interview in their NYC office.
The on-site interview was exactly two hours long just as others have said on here. The girl at the front desk was very nice and welcoming. The first hour is a case study with one of the managers. He will first introduce himself and his background then you introduce yourself and tell him about yourself briefly. He then asks you to go over the Bread process but it is very easy if you are prepared. You pick two of three cases and have 15min and a laptop to find potential "industry experts" for the client. Use LinkedIN and simple Google search it is really that easy. You will have to do a mock call with him trying to pitch why the "industry expert" should work with AlphaSights. Make sure you know that AlphaSights pays these experts around $250-400 an hour for taking a phone call and charges their clients around $900-$1200 for facilitating the call. The mock calls are also pretty easy and wouldn't stress over them.
Lastly, a 2 on 1 interview with a manager and a VP. This part was all behavioral questions and a mock call where you pitch a client on why they should speak with the expert you picked for them. You have to know why you want to work there and how it is going to play a part in your overall career. The one VP makes sure you know that he went to Cornell and worked in investment banking, he was the only negative part of the entire interview process. He talked about himself for a pretty long time and he cuts you off when you try to answer a question. He also asked for SAT scores and some other strange questions that were not related to the job or about your overall fit. Definitely not someone you would want as a boss/coworker.
Overall, no final offer but AlphaSights was very quick during the entire interview process and glassdoor has all the information you need about their interview process. They try to pitch young graduates on the skills you would gain working there but after completing the interview process it seems like a giant call center just trying to get "industry experts" to speak with their clients. Hope this helps and good luck!

Domanda 1
What is something that your previous employer would describe you as but you don't think represents you? Why your college? What would you do with 30 million dollars?
Interview process was ok, several stages and language test as it was a particular language speaking role, only downside really was very little feedback given at the end when not successful. When I asked for a feedback call as to why I wasn’t successful they didn’t answer my question and it was a 2 mins call saying that I was just unsuccessful.
