I applied to a different job using a headhunter that manages AlphaSights' recruiting. He informed me that I would not be a great fit for the job I had applied to, but that the Analyst role at AlphaSights might interest me. I completed an easy 4-question assignment before the interview that tested my knowledge of the company and how I would approach a typical AlphaSights project. Half of the interview was about my background and desire to work at AS, while the second half was almost an interview-led case study, in which the interviewer explained their project framework and asked what information I would seek out. It wasn't very difficult.
