Communication on the final year project done and the characteristic of diode (basic). Other is more on chatting session to understand your personality.
Around 1 hour long interview focus on technical questions and problem solving skill. Need to face few interviewer at the same time to prepare to explain technical answer on paper. There is no IQ test involved.

I was an intern before I graduate. Once I graduate I apply back to Altera and I run through a simple phone interview and I got the offer in the afternoon. I believe it is due to the performance during the internship and make the interview process become simple, because they already know my attitude and etc.
