Interviewer who is a senior recruiting manager was stone faced with no niceness. Jumped from one topic to another without a preface or breath. Does it take much to treat candidates as real people?
Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite un selezionatore. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Altimetrik nel mese di nov 2025
Colloquio
My interview experience was quite disappointing, primarily due to the actions of the TA representative. I was assured that the first round would be purely conceptual with no coding involved, and I was not given a single day for the preparation before the interview was scheduled, he kept on insisting to just attend the interview anyhow.
However, during the interview, the senior panel member clarified right at the beginning that both rounds would require coding. When I raised this discrepancy, he contacted me on call and insisted that I proceed with the interview regardless, stating that declining would lead to a major escalation since the interviewer was at a management level but there was no accountability of the same.
I am sharing this feedback to highlight the concerning behaviour displayed by this TA representative. It appeared that the priority was meeting internal targets rather than ensuring a fair and transparent process for candidates. Such practices can negatively impact the company’s reputation and impact candidate time and experience, and I hope this is addressed to prevent similar experiences for others.
