I applied for the AmaliTech NSS program, and the interview process was pretty solid. It started with an aptitude test (abstract, verbal, and numbers stuff), then a technical test based on your field. If you pass those, you move on to interviews that mix technical questions and some behavioral/team-fit stuff. Some people even get a small project assignment to show what they can do. The process is a bit long, but the interviewers are friendly and clear, and it feels like they really want to see what you can do.
