I applied via LinkedIn on 9 Dec 2025, and I had a thorough phone interview with a local hiring staff member a few days later.
After that, it went silent. I followed up weekly with her, and she told me she was awaiting a response from the hiring manager in Denmark. This dragged on for over a month until I received an email inviting me to an online interview with the hiring manager. I scheduled the earliest possible slot, which was 15 Jan 2026.
I believe the online interview went well, and I expressed enthusiasm about completing any assigned task to prove my capabilities. I was told that there were other candidates being interviewed, which is understandable. No task or follow-up was provided after the interview.
To my horror, I was shocked to see that the role was reposted on both JobStreet and LinkedIn. I felt dismissed and was not informed about this. I had to follow up with the local hiring staff to give feedback on the situation, and she told me that this is a common practice at Ambu. I even reached out to the hiring manager via LinkedIn about this, but she ghosted me.
In summary, this experience reflected poorly on Ambu’s hiring process, highlighting slow decision-making and operational inefficiencies. Given that SEO requires speed, adaptability, and clear communication, the process felt misaligned with the demands of the role.
