Thorough! I would come away feeling confident and informed and welcomed after every interview. However, Amex is unique. Now being a full time employee at the company I understand their tactic was wholeheartedly long term and culture fit related. They had my best interest in mind. It took me 10 months of interviewing for 7 different roles within the same department until I finally found my long term fit.

The interview process was smooth and swift. It's just the fact that I got ghosted. They said they would notify me in a week if I got a second interview, and the following week, they said they hoped to have someone picked. It's been four weeks, and I have heard nothing. I even emailed them and still didn't receive a response.

I only made it through the initial phone screening. I was very excited since AMEX is known for great work life balance. My interviewer was a former EA who gleamed about flexibility within the company and the HR Team.

Emailed automatic rejection after not a peep for over a week after final interview. Such a crappy and impersonal experience
