Interviewed with potential colleagues, director, and director's colleagues by phone over a 2 week period, as team was located a few states away. Was asked if I could travel to meet for the next step of face to face interviews, and to expect a call to set it up in a week. I had to reach out several times and was finally told that they had already hired someone without the face-to-face, despite how close the competition was between the two of us.
