I replied to a posting on craigslist for a sales/customer service position, from there a recruiter called me and set me up with an interview. I, like a lot of others, had no insurance experience on my resume. I had some management and sales on there but that was about it as far as what made me a good fit. I went through the interview process and heard what people had to say. I also did some investigating, but I wasn’t looking for feedback from a bunch of people who couldn’t cut it during the interviews or first few weeks of training. I searched reputable sources such as AM Best (an insurance reporting agency) and other people who were successful with insurance in general.
