I first met with a recruitment manager to review my resume. Then I met with my would-be boss. The conversation lasted about 45 minutes and we discussed the role. More than being qualified, a lot of the interview felt like it was testing personality fit. It was clear they had a tight-nit team and wanted someone that would mesh well.

Amazing! From initial application through the final round of interviews, very smooth process. Ultimately, wasn’t selected due to lack of fundraising experience; otherwise, great job by ARC and would interview all over again in the future!

First interview - screening with HR The second interview with the hiring manager 3rd interview with a panel and then the HR contact will call you with an offer. The first interview is very basic and no questions are asked related to the role. The second interview asks more about your general experience and the third is a panel that asks different questions about your past roles and how they could transfer over. Have an example of when someone declined and how you overcame it.

Applied online. Had HR screening within 2 weeks. The following week I had a video interview with the Chief Dev Officer, she suggested a possible follow up interview to include the Dir. of Dev. The second video interview was within a few days and included the Dir. of Dev. and the CDO. The conversation was very positive and cordial as they sought advice regarding specific issues. They mentioned 2 out of 4 recent new hires had already left the organization - prompting an interest to fill the position quickly. I thought I would at least hear back directly from the Dir. of Dev. or the CDO regarding any decisions, but within a few days I received an automated rejection email. This is the second time within the past year I have interviewed for a position with the same CDO, who appears to be a thoughtful manager, but clearly lacks the leadership communication skills.
