I don't know about you guys but my dog is just as much of a living creature as I am, so sorry for trying being responsible. If my dog is dying or severely sick I am taking him to the damn vet. Fire me for taking care of him but my dog is my friend, and family, and I'm damn sure gonna be there for him. And that's not very humanitarian of either of us to let the dog suffer. You can sacrifice one phlebotomist for X hours while I take him to the vet. "If a donor leaves because of an unpleasant experience with you. I gotta fire you ASAP. You're a liability. No donor, no blood." Last I checked I can't control if people decided to come back. I cant control their definition of an unpleasant experience is (I could've thought everything went well, but maybe they just did not like the way I look or sound). They also waited till the interview to tell me their 6-7 wk long PAID TRAINING does not even teach phlebotomy, and I'm going up against certified phlebotomists, and that its a 2 year commitment. Had I known that I wouldn't have even bothered, or I would've taken a course before. "I'd be pretty pissed if you came on board especially since you have no experience." "Great well you didn't train me so why do you care? You didn't invest to teach me phlebotomy I had to pay out of pocket for a class or learn from Youtube!" Not a job if for someone looking for "clinical experience" (patient interaction) for a premed route like I was. It'd be better to volunteer.

Very easy over the phone interview. Just basic questions. Going in for the in person interview, it was easy as well. They were basic interview questions, but most of it was just being informed about the position, and what the training process is like.
