Interview process was quick at first with great responsiveness from internal recruiter and hiring manager after an employee referral/recommendation. The 1:1 interview went well and hiring manager was friendly and made the interview comfortable and relaxed. After 1:1 interview was over, I was asked if I was available the following week for another in-person interview. Followed up the next week after no communication from ATD and was told that they were still working on scheduling the next round of interviews and were having difficulties with schedules. Never heard back from anyone again regarding the follow-up interview, but see that an external hire was made for the position after I was told that multiple internal candidates were being considered. ATD - Please treat candidates/interviewees like human beings and at the very least show them the same respect that you would like to receive when taking time to come onsite and go through the interview process. Please let them know when they are no longer being considered for a position, so that they can move on with their job searches.
