The recruiter is unprofessional and rude! The interview process with the hiring manager and the team was good, but the recruiter just ruined my impression of the whole company. I interviewed for the 1st position (1 HR phone call, 1 Hiring manager phone call, and final round - presentation with ~7 1:1 meetings). Then no news, no phone call, and no emails. After >1 month, the hiring manager called me saying they chose the other candidate but she liked me so she referred me to another position, and then I applied. Another hiring process with the new position and a different recruiter (HR phone call, hiring manager meeting and final round). Standard interview process, but this recruiter is RUDE in his email communications. I got the offer, but at that time I just received another offer so I declined the Amgen offer (soon after I received the written document), then the recruiter email me "Disappointed in the lack of transparency – we would not have extended an offer". what????? It is the company ghosted candidates after final round interviews for months and then criticized candidates for lack of transparency in declining the offer (right after receiving the offer and clearly stated that I have accepted another offer). The experience is ridiculous, and the emails sent from this recruiter imposed hate. I still appreciate the hiring managers though, and sincerely hope Amgen could train their recruiters to be more professional.

The hiring process consisted of three rounds, but it felt rushed and lacked transparency. The HR phone screen and hiring manager call were scheduled back-to-back with no prior notice. After the final onsite interview, which required two days of travel and a six-hour on site interview. they ghosted me after two weeks. I get that no response usually means rejection, but failing to follow up after such an extensive interview process is just disrespectful.

30 minute call with hiring manager, on-site interview consisting of 1hr presentation and multiple 1-1's throughout the day (full day on-site), reference check was also conducted. Was a fair interview process, no surprises and people were very genuine.
