1 Teams interview for this 12 month contract position with a panel of 2. The overall process was very quick, they made a quick decision after the interview. Interviewers were friendly.

Average tenure of the interviewers are two years. One of them visibly does not like his job. The most junior interviewer, who was still excited about the job, was transparent about the challenges facing the team.

Colloquio
At first, the process went well. There was an HR screen followed by a 1:1 interview with the hiring manager. Two weeks later, I was selected for the panel interview, which consisted of 4 1:1 interviews. The interviews were pleasant with a variety of technical and behavioral questions. After the interviews, I sent an email to the recruiter with thank you notes and asked about timelines . . . . No response. Amgen was my top choice and when I received notification of a verbal offer from another company, I finally heard back. I was given a decision date and have not heard anything since.
Knowing I had another offer and when I had to provide a decision, it was have been nice to receive a follow up email that another candidate was selected especially when I had another company waiting for my response. My date for making a decision was communicated. After spending the hours preparing for and participating in the interviews, a quick follow up would help provide closure. Blessing in disguise if this is how candidates are treated.
