After responding to a job posting via email and sending in my resume, HR called to set up and interview. Just before the interview filled out the official application and then was called in. Usually its the HR rep with the department manager or supervisor of the position. Went over a copy of the resume I brought. The manager will ask questions about experience and technical questions while the HR rep will ask questions about career goals and longevity of staying with the company. After interview is complete you take a quiz (depending on the position) that tests either knowledge or ability to use an SOP.(Standard operating procedure). After the quiz HR will call you to offer you the position and tell you what day to come in(this can take days to a few weeks). First day of work you fill out a bunch of paperwork, and start reading all the SOPs that are needed for your position.
