Met with the Hiring Manager and immediately got bad vibes. I was asked basic technical questions about some of the technology used by the company. Some behavior questions sprinkled in purposely vague. He also bad mouthed the competitors of the company even mentioning some by name and what they were doing wrong. I did feel like I was talking to an Engineer rather than a Leader. The passion he spoke with was rather intriguing. Overall not a good culture fit for me. So I would have declined an offer anyway.
