A recruiter reached out to me, and after chatting with her, Iwas set up on a call with an Engineering Manager who was my potential future manager. He was really great and we enjoyed talking, so I was bumped to the next round (the final round). The final round was a series of four 1-hour interviews where I spoke to a Senior Engineer, the same Engineering Manager from round 1, another Software Engineer, and finally the VP of Engineering. Some of the interviews tested me on technical know-how, but a lot of it was more generally getting to know how I work and collaborate, and how I would go about solving certain problems. The team passed on me for a more senior person, and I was bummed about that; however, they all seemed like incredibly kind, genuine people who love their craft. Seems like a really great team to revisit in the future.
