Rudest interviewer I have ever come across. She was 30 minutes late and since I'm currently working at a different company, I had to make an excuse to further be away from my desk. She began the interview with condescension asking if I knew what job I had applied for. She proceeded to tell me that the company would not be flying out of state applicants to their office. She did not seem to know how to give an interview and insulted my current job saying that Angelo Gordon was not a "corporate 9-5 job such as Current Company".
The interview ended with an offer to meet in person only if I was in New York. I actually did go to New York for several companies who paid to fly me up, but I did not contact Angelo Gordon to continue the process. I'd stay away.
The interview process was extensive with seven interviews of direct team members and management, as well as a test. Responses between rounds were not very quick, but the process was clearly taken very seriously and was very diligent and both skills and culture fit were considered.
